Description
Miòl is a vintage rosé Prosecco made with grapes from the vineyards that extend around the walls of the city of Treviso.
It is produced almost mainly with Glera grapes with a small addition of Pinot noir grapes, sparkling with the Charmat method. Following the harvest, which takes place in the second half of September, the Pinot Noir undergoes a short maceration on the skins before soft pressing and then added to Glera. The second fermentation takes place in steel vats and lasts 15-20 days.
In the glass the Miòl is pale pink in color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals a fruity bouquet, with notes of pear, cherry and raspberry. The sip is fresh, silky.
Perfect for an aperitif and for mixology, at the table it goes well with seafood and land appetizers and with tasty fish dishes.
