Description
Conte Collalto's Prosecco Rosé Extra Dry is a blend of Glera and Pinot Nero grapes.
The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested at the end of August, those of Glera at the beginning of September. The grapes are vinified separately in steel tanks, with the Pinot Noir undergoing the traditional red vinification. The sparkling process follows the Martinotti method, with second fermentation in pressurized tanks at 15 °C and subsequent ageing on the lees for 60 days.
It is characterized by a pale pink colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with a fruity bouquet of raspberry and strawberry, enriched with delicate citrus notes. On the palate it is fresh, harmonious and pleasantly fragrant.
Ideal as an aperitif accompanied by finger food, it also goes very well with salami appetizers and seafood.
