Description
The Priorat Finca Dofi by Alvaro Palacios, awarded every year by international critics, comes from very low yields, which allow a great concentration of aromas. The vines in the Priorat, in fact, are almost natural bonsai, with very long roots and very low trunk, and one of the lowest yields in the world.
A man's masterpiece that translates into wine, after a long and skilful aging of 6 months in barrique in the cellars of Alvaro Palacios.
This red amazes for the wide olfactory spectrum, which varies from fruity aromas of ripe red fruits to distant exotic spices, from the intense taste of licorice to floral references, which are also confirmed on the palate, with uniform and smooth tannins and a long finish and persistent.
Pair it with grilled roasted red meats, and if you have a friend who loves structured reds with character, better prepared to taste it, after letting it rest, with a platter of refined cheeses.
