Description
SanGaetano is a wine from Cantine Due Palme, located in the Cellino San Marco area. The vines are cultivated with Alberello Pugliese, the method of cultivation of the plant typical of this region. The wine takes its name from a small social winery in Lizzano, which was incorporated by the Cantine.
SanGaetano is produced from 100% Primitivo grapes which, after vinification, are aged in American oak barriques for 6 months.
In the glass, the wine appears dark ruby red in color with purple nuances. The nose opens on aromas of ripe fruit, with notes of cocoa and vanilla. The taste is warm and full-bodied, with well-structured tannins.
Ideal in combination with baked pasta, roasted and grilled meats.
