Description
Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Li Filitti di Masca del Tacco is produced in Puglia from sapling vines that grow on flat soils rich in iron and limestone, influenced by sea winds.
The vinification takes place in open tanks at a controlled temperature and with prolonged maceration. Aging for at least 24 months follows, of which at least 9 in different types of wood.
In the glass the wine appears of a deep ruby red. On the nose there are hints of dried violet, ripe red fruit and jam, with notes of cocoa and graphite. The sip is soft and structured, with a long persistence.
Ideally paired with tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, stewed game and aged cheeses.
