Description
This Primitivo belongs to the Talò line of the famous Apulian company San Marzano. Born in vineyards located 100 m above sea level, on the Salento hills of Apulia.
Obtained exclusively from Primitivo grapes, carefully harvested during the second week of September, this wine ferments with selected yeasts and then ages in American and French oak barrels for 6 months before being bottled.
It has a ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose brings a very intense and persistent aroma, with flavours of cherry and plum, enriched by bewitching sensations of cocoa and vanilla. In the mouth it shows a remarkable structure and an excellent warmth, typical of the grape, with a sweet and persistent finish.
This wine keeps its organoleptic potential intact for at least 5 years. It goes divinely with very elaborate first courses, lamb, game with elaborate sauces and aged cheeses.
