Description
The Muso Rosso di Tagaro is a wine made from Primitivo grapes originating from the renowned Salento area of Manduria. The vineyards from which it is born are distributed on soil characterized by the presence of sand, clay and limestone, which contribute to characterizing the aromatic profile of the final wine.
It is the result of a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature for 36 hours. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and aging in medium toasted French oak barrels for at least 6 months.
It has a ruby red color in the glass with elegant garnet reflections. On the nose it is intense and persistent, with spicy notes dominating the entire olfactory picture. It is a wine with a soft taste, with an evident but well integrated tannin.
Ideal to serve with game dishes, it is excellent with grilled red meats and mature cheeses.
