Description
The Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni Old Vines di San Marzano is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava.
It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested by hand towards the second half of September. Fermentation takes place in barriques at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C for about 2 months. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 12 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of plums and cherries, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of tobacco. On the palate it is soft and full-bodied, with noble tannins and a finish with an aftertaste of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal as a meditation wine and in combination with first courses.
