Description

Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Anniversario 62 by San Marzano is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava, in the heart of Apulia.

It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested only by hand during the second half of September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 24 °C for about 10–15 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in barrique for 18 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by a deep ruby red colour. The nose opens with a large and elegant bouquet of plum and cherry, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of tobacco. On the palate, it is pleasantly soft and rich, with a great body. The wine has noble tannins and a delicately spiced finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats, game and first courses, it is ideal as a meditation wine.
