Description

Churchill's Port is a refined Port produced in Portugal, in the renowned Douro Valley. The company, founded in 1981 by John Graham, stands out for its high quality and a unique approach that combines traditional methods with an individual style. The grapes come from old vines, some of which are located on the prestigious Quinta da Gricha estate, and the result is a Port that reflects the exceptional terroir of the region.

Churchill's Port winemaking follows classic methods passed down from generation to generation. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with care to preserve their best characteristics. After fermentation, the wine is aged in wooden barrels, where it develops its complexity and depth. Production is limited and each bottle represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

On the nose, Churchill's Port opens with a bouquet of notes of chocolate, plum jam and vanilla. On the palate, it offers a rich and sweet profile, with hints of plum, blackberry and a touch of resin. The structure is full and enveloping, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression.

This Port is ideal for accompanying mature cheeses, chocolate desserts or dried fruit, enhancing the flavors and creating a perfect pairing.
