Description

A Porto Colheita is a Tawny Port made from grapes of the same vintage, aged in large old barrels for a period of at least 7 years. The grapes that give life to Niepoort's Porto Colheita come from vineyards over 60 years of age, and is subjected to a maturation of at least 10 years.

It shows an intense brick red colour, with brownish reflections. The olfactory examination reveals succulent aromas of candied fruit, plum and figs above all, to which an elegant smoky touch is added. In the mouth it is fresh and full, with a dry and seductive finish.

Delicious at the end of a meal, it is perfect in the company of desserts or dried fruit. Try it as an aperitif.
