Description
Port Wood Reserve scotch whiskey is made by the Dalmore distillery in Alness, in the Highlands, starting its aging process in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels. Half of the whiskey produced continues its aging in Porto Tawny barrels at W & J Graham's winery in Portugal.
In the glass it shows a golden amber color. The bouquet expresses intense and rich aromas with aromas of red fruits, Seville orange and toffee. On the palate it is characterized by a thick and creamy sip, in which hints of caramel, nutmeg and coffee prevail. The finish is richly fruity, with notes of plum, blood orange and cherry jam.
Perfect to drink on the rocks or straight.
