Description

The Pommard of the domaine Parent is an iconic wine based on Pinot Noir grapes, born from the clay-limestone soils of the renowned village of Pommard. This area is famous for producing wines of great character and depth, thanks to the ideal pedo-climatic conditions for the expression of this vine.

The grape harvest is carried out manually with careful selection of the bunches. A low temperature pre-fermentation maceration of 3-5 days precedes a controlled temperature fermentation of 16-18 days. The wine matures for 14 months in partially new oak barrels.

The color of this Pommard is an intense ruby red, which preludes a nose of persuasive hints of red fruits which is enriched with spicy and floral notes. On the palate the wine reveals a classic and elegant profile, well balanced, with ripe and perfectly integrated tannins.

It is perfect in combination with second courses based on red meat and recipes based on game, both feathered and feathered.
