Description
Antoine Jobard's Pommard is located within the Côte de Beaune, one of the most prestigious areas in the whole of Burgundy.
The harvest of the grapes is exclusively manual, carried out at the optimal moment of ripeness to guarantee the integrity of the fruit and maximum aromatic expression. After an initial cold maceration of 5 days, fermentation takes place for 10 days in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for 12 months in partially new oak barrels.
It has an intense ruby red color. Its fascinating bouquet features notes of plum and other black berry fruit, accompanied by elegant floral notes. The palate is firm, powerful and structured, with well-integrated tannins.
It is particularly suitable for accompanying rich dishes based on game, red meats and roasts.
