Description

The Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins from the domaine Parent is an exceptional wine that comes from the historic Pommard region, known for its clay-limestone soils ideal for the maximum expression of Pinot Noir.

Manual harvest with rigorous selection of the bunches. A low temperature pre-fermentation maceration of 3-5 days leads to a controlled temperature fermentation for 16-18 days. Aging takes place in partially new oak barrels for 14-16 months.

Intense ruby red color. The nose releases intense aromas of black fruits that intertwine with floral notes. On the palate it proves to be a thoroughbred wine but at the same time elegant and deep, with well-fused tannins and a pleasant minerality.

Ideal to serve with red meat main courses and game-based dishes.
