Description
Over time, the Pomino area has proved to be a territory particularly suited for viticulture, in particular for vines such as Pinot Noir which here is endowed with unique characteristics that complement its elegance.
The fermentation of Pinot Noir grapes, harvested at the optimum degree of ripeness, takes place in oak with a maceration of 23 days in order to guarantee perfect extraction of the phenolic component. Upon completion of the malolactic fermentation, in barrique, the wine remains in the same containers for 12 months of aging. Another 4 months in glass allow an ideal quality path.
The color is ruby red with some garnet reflections. The nose reveals a fruity bouquet in which black currant stands out, reached by pleasant notes of cinnamon, juniper and ginger. In the mouth the noble elegance of Pinot Noir is manifested, supported by an indomitable freshness and a velvety tannin that break into a long and persistent finish.
It is the ideal combination of stews and meat sauce. Excellent also in the company of a superb platter of cold cuts.
