Description
This Brut Rosé Metodo Classico Millesimato Leonia was born in the Castello Pomino di Frescobaldi estate, located in the province of Florence.
It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place in bottle, according to the Metodo Classico, with ageing on its own yeasts.
It is characterized by a salmon pink colour with copper highlights and a continuous and persistent perlage. The nose opens with fruity hints of strawberry, blackberry and black cherry, enriched with spicy notes. On the palate it is soft and round, with red fruit returns and a fresh and persistent lime finish.
Perfect to accompany delicate and raw fish appetizers, this sparkling wine is ideal in combination with shellfish, fried fish and roasted white meats.
