Description
The Pomino Bianco di Frescobaldi was born in vineyards located on the Castello Pomino estate, located in the homonymous hamlet within the municipality of Rufina, in the province of Florence.
It is mainly produced with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and a small part of complementary varieties, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in temperature-controlled barriques. After partial malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel for 4 months and in small part in barrique, before being bottled
It has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with intense floral aromas of frangipani and jasmine, enriched with fruity hints of apricot, quince and tropical fruit, followed by cardamom. On the palate it is savory and harmonious, with a pleasant aftertaste of ripe raspberry.
Suitable as an aperitif, it is perfect with vegetable appetizers and with all fish dishes.
