Pomerol AOC 2019 Château de Sales

Château de Sales is an important estate in Pomerol, in the Bordeaux region. appellation famous for the production of fine red wines, often based on Merlot, and Château de Sales is one of the largest and oldest château in the area. Château de Sales is spread over a large area of over 47 hectares and planted mainly with Merlot grape varieties, followed by Cabernet Franc and a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon. The predominant presence of Merlot in the cultivated varieties helps to give the wines a distinctive roundness and softness.

It presents itself to the eye with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers an inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of red fruits, herbaceous nuances and light spices. In the mouth, it stands out for its well-balanced structure, soft tannins and a pleasant freshness.
