Description

1615 Mosto Verde Italia is a refined distillate produced in Peru. The brandy is made from Italian grapes and represents one of the three main types of Pisco, together with pure Pisco and Acholado. This product stands out for its unique character, the result of an incomplete fermentation process which preserves a significant residual sugar.

The vinification of 1615 Mosto Verde Italia begins with the fermentation of the must for just two days, unlike the seven days required for other types of Pisco. Subsequently, the must is distilled only once in French copper stills. After distillation, the product is left to rest for a period ranging from 12 to 36 months before bottling, thus ensuring the maturation of its complex aromas and flavors.

On the nose, 1615 Mosto Verde Italia offers an aromatic bouquet of grapes and geranium, enriched with floral and citrus scents. On the palate, warm notes of green apple and pecan emerge, which give the distillate a pleasant softness and complexity. The persistence of the taste is remarkable, making every sip a rich and enveloping experience.

This Pisco pairs perfectly with fish dishes, especially with ceviche and other preparations based on seafood and raw fish, enhancing the flavors with its freshness and aroma.
