Description

The Pinotage Bergkelder Selection by Fleur du Cap comes from vineyards located in the Cape Coastal area of South Africa.

It is obtained from pure Pinotage grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with cold maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. Then the wine is aged for 12 months in French and American second and third passage oak barrels, before being bottled.

The Pinotage Bergkelder Selection by Fleur du Cap has an intense red color with a purple nail. The nose opens with an elegant and intense fruity bouquet, followed by a pleasantly spicy oak finish. On the palate it proves fresh, full-bodied and robust, rightly soft and tannic.

Perfect to accompany refined red meat dishes such as grilled lamb, this red wine is ideal in combination with fish and white meats.
