Description
Pinot Nero Brut Le Contesse comes from the best owned vineyards rooted in the province of Treviso, close to the hills of Conegliano, located on medium-textured soils at a height of 40 meters above sea level.
The grapes are harvested in the vineyard between the end of August and the beginning of September and transported to the cellar where the soft pressing and cold static decanting of the must take place. The first fermentation in white in steel is followed by a second one in pressurized tanks according to the Martinotti-Charmat Lungo method, with final refinement of 9–12 months.
It presents itself to the eye with a golden colour resulting from long ageing on the lees. It has a rich and creamy froth and a crown of fine and persistent bubbles. Fragrant notes of bread crust and ripe fruit capture the nose, providing a preview to a complex palate of red fruits characterized by an excellent body and a satisfying persistence.
Splendid aperitif, it is excellent in combination with appetizers, fresh cheeses and fish-based main courses.
