Description

The Estrosa white wine is produced by Pico Maccario, a company founded in 1997 by the brothers Pico and Vitaliano Maccario. It produces wines from the main Piedmontese denominations: Langhe, Monferrato, Gavi, Barolo and Barbaresco.

It consists exclusively of Viognier grapes which are softly pressed, with a short skin maceration. Vinification takes place in thermo-controlled steel tanks thanks to the addition of selected yeasts. The wine thus obtained then ages in steel for 4 months.

Straw yellow in color, it reveals a bouquet of aromas of white and yellow flowers, apricot and exotic fruit on the nose. The sip is full and intense.

It is the ideal wine to pair with seafood, shellfish and white meats.
