Description
The Piedmont Barbera of Luigi Einaudi comes from the vineyards located in the localities of San Luigi and San Giacomo in Dogliani, planted on marly, clayey and calcareous soils.
Produced only from grapes of the Barbera variety, it is the result of a vinification conducted in steel with temperature control. After malolactic fermentation, the wine stays for a few months in large and small barrels and then completes its aging in the bottle.
It is ruby red in color with garnet reflections. The aroma is intense with ripe red fruit. On the palate it is a wine with a good body, characterized by a fresh taste of red fruit and a gentle tannin that accompanies it in its balance and overall softness.
Perfect with complex first courses such as baked pasta or lasagna, it excels in the company of white truffle dishes and typical Piedmontese cheeses such as Bross, Toma and Raschera.
