Description

The Petit Verdot Gallico from the Campo al Mare estate presents itself as an oenological rarity within the Bolgheri wine scene, enhancing the territory and its heritage through a modern and original sensorial profile. The result of a selection of grapes from the best vineyards of the estate, this wine expresses the most intimate essence of the Petit Verdot grape.

In the cellar, the Petit Verdot Gallico is vinified through fermentation in steel, with maceration for approximately 30 days, at a temperature of 28°C. Maturation takes place in half new French oak barriques, for a period of approximately 20-24 months, followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 3 months.

The color is intense purple red, a characteristic that testifies to the quality and uniqueness of the wine. On the nose there are intense hints of nail polish, strawberries and rhubarb with hints of coffee. On the palate it is balanced with velvety and evident tannins but which never give off astringency.

This wine finds its ideal pairing with intense and tasty dishes such as stewed hare and mature cheeses, enhancing the complexity of the taste and the aromatic richness.
