Description

The Grand Cru classé is produced by Domaine de Chevalier, founded in 1600 by the Bernard family, to which it still belongs today.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot grapes are vinified in French oak barrels of 9.80 hl and in steel and concrete vats. The malolactic process takes place completely in new French oak barrels. Finally the wine is aged for 18-22 months for 40-60% in French oak barrels.

Intense ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of black and red fruits to the nose, spicy and balsamic notes in which black pepper stands out. The sip is taut and powerful, with a persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
