Description
Château Carbonnieux white wine was born in Bordeaux and precisely in the Pessac-Léognan region. Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest wineries in the Bordeaux region, with a history dating back to the 1200s.
The Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes are softly pressed and the must cold decanted. The vinification takes place for 12 days in barrels and vats. The wine obtained passes into barrels for refinement, which lasts approx. 10 months.
Straw yellow in colour, it reveals aromas of acacia, citrus and plum to the nose, with a note of butter. The sip is dry and round, with a persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with white meats, in particular roasted noble poultry, and fish dishes.
