Description

Pernand-Vergelesses Les Belles Filles from Domaine Rapet is an elegant red wine produced in the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. The vineyard is located between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, on calcareous soils with ferrous clays that give the wines a pleasant freshness and minerality. The name "Belles Filles" refers to a poetic and picturesque place in the region.

The vinification involves a 15-day fermentation with punching down to extract color and tannins, followed by aging in oak barrels, some of which are new. This process enhances the fruity and complex characteristics of the wine, maintaining finesse and balance.

This wine presents fresh aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrant, accompanied by a light mineral note. On the palate it is round, fruity and with well-integrated tannins, offering an elegant and persistent finish that reflects the unique terroir of the Côte de Beaune.

It pairs perfectly with meat dishes such as beef fillet, sautéed veal or duck, and mature cheeses.
