Description

The Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Sous Frétille from Domaine Antonin Guyon is a refined white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Located north of Beaune, between Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune, the vineyard extends over just over 1 hectare of well-exposed slopes. The white marl soil, combined with the age of the vines of 35 years, contributes to the complexity and elegance of this wine.

The harvest is done by hand in small crates, followed by a meticulous selection in the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature in oak barrels, with bâtonnage performed twice a week to develop greater aromatic complexity. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.

This wine has a bright color and offers floral notes to the nose accompanied by a delicate almond aroma. On the palate it stands out for its elegance, freshness and great finesse, making it a balanced and refined wine.

Perfect with fish-based appetizers or white meats accompanied by creamy sauces.
