Description
Syrah is produced by Les Jamelles, a French winery born in the 90s in Languedoc. The cellar has a wide range of wines that embraces all types: white, orange, rosé, red and sparkling.
It consists exclusively of Syrah grapes, which are vinified according to a traditional winemaking method from the south of France, known as "La Cocotte", whereby, at the end of alcoholic fermentation, the pomace is completely submerged to increase the extraction of color and polyphenols. Part of the wine ages for a few months in oak barrels.
Intense ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of violets and berries on the nose, as well as notes of gentle spices and mint. The sip is consistent, with a silky and persistent finish.
It goes well with red meats and stewed game.
