Description
Mourvèdre is produced by Les Jamelles, a French winery born in the 90s in Languedoc. The cellar has a wide range of wines that embraces all types: white, orange, rosé, red and sparkling.
It consists exclusively of Mourvèdre grapes, a typical red grape of the French coast. 3/4 of the grapes are vinified with a long maceration of over 3 weeks. The remaining part of the grapes undergoes carbonic maceration on the whole bunch. A small part of the wine ages in oak barrels.
Intense ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of strawberry, peach and currant on the nose, as well as hints of Mediterranean herbs and honey. The sip is round, with well balanced tannins and a silky finish.
It goes well with meat couscous, aubergines with parmesan and goat cheeses.
