Description
The sparkling rosé wine 3POP Ancestrale del Castello di Cigognola was born in Oltrepò Pavese from Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes. The Castle, which overlooks the Scuropasso valley, has belonged to the Arnaboldi, Brichetto and Moratti families for generations and dates back to the mid-14th century. Since 1981 the farm has been managed exclusively by the Moratti family.
The vinification of the grapes takes place with direct pressing and the use of free-run juice. The second fermentation is obtained with refermentation in the bottle according to the ancestral method.
Soft pink in color and with a fine and persistent perlage, it reveals aromas of small red fruits and hints of crusty bread on the nose. The sip is fresh and lively, drinkable.
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes very well with light first courses and pizza.
