Description
Château Lynch-Moussas owes its name to the Irish Lynch family, who purchased the property in the 18th century, together with the very famous Lynch-Bages. Classified 5ème Grand Cru in 1855, since 1970 it has been led by Emile Castéja who took over the estate.
The cultivated varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Fermentation and maceration take place for 15-20 days in thermo-regulated tanks. The refinement takes place for 18 months in oak barriques, half new and half first passage.
The wine has a garnet red color with purple veins. On the nose there are delicious notes of rose, chocolate, blueberries and blackberries, accompanied by hints of smoke. On the palate, the wine is fresh and linear, with mineral references.
Ideal to accompany a rack of lamb with porcini mushrooms or a fillet of beef with mushrooms.
