Description

L'Echo de Lynch-Bages, an illustrious second wine from Pauillac, comes from the renowned Château Lynch-Bages, located just outside Pauillac in the Médoc. This vineyard extends for 110 hectares on gravel soils from the Garonne, benefiting from a temperate climate and advanced management with satellite technologies that preserve the genetic heritage of the vines. The structure and organization of the soil ensure good natural irrigation of the plants.

The vinification of this wine is carried out with extreme attention. The harvest is exclusively manual, with a careful selection of the grapes directly in the vineyard. Two thirds of the malolactic fermentation takes place in vats and one third in barriques, with a subsequent 12-month refinement in oak barrels. This process gives the wine a refined structure and remarkable complexity.

On the palate, the Echo de Lynch-Bages 2021 stands out for a harmonious balance between vigorous freshness and robust structure. It is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which expresses vibrant notes of ripe red and black fruits, skillfully integrated with nuances of sweet spices and a light touch of wood, resulting from aging in barrique.

This wine pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses.
