Description
Conte Vistarino's Maria Novella rosé wine is born in vineyards located on the Rocca de 'Giorgi estate, in the province of Pavia.
It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, selected and harvested solely by hand in 20kg crates. The grapes remain first of all for one night in the cold room at 10 ° C. The following morning they undergo a short maceration in the press, to then be fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine remains in steel vats for 4 months, until bottling.
In the glass, the wine has a pink color characteristic of onion skin. The nose opens with notes of pomegranate and yellow fruit, peach and plum. On the palate it is fresh, with a pleasant persistence.
This rosé wine is ideal as an aperitif and goes well with both salami appetizers and fish dishes.
