Description
The Riccio Rosso di Mora Bassa is a pure Pinot Noir whose grapes are grown in Montescano in the Oltrepò Pavese area.
After a harvest that takes place by hand in boxes, the vinification takes place traditionally in red, after which the wine ages for 24 months, of which at least 6 in wood.
It has a ruby red color. On the nose it opens with notes of red and black fruits, enriched with slight vanilla hints typical of the aging in wood. The palate is broad and enveloping, of great balance, with soft tannins and a long finish.
Ideal in combination with game dishes, it goes very well with long-aged cheeses.
