Description
The Oltrepò Pavese Brut of the La Piotta company is a Classic Method sparkling wine made with 100% Pinot Nero grapes.
The vines grow on soils with a calcareous-marly composition and retain an average age of about 30 years. After harvesting, the must ferments in steel before refining for 24 months in contact with the yeasts.
Straw yellow in color, it has a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is broad and fruity, with references to exotic fruit and bread crust. Fresh and harmonious on the palate, it maintains good acidity and a medium-long finish.
Try it with shellfish and fish first courses, it also goes well with fresh cheeses and white meats.
