Description

Terra Fageto's Offida Pecorino Fenèsia is produced in Campofilone, between the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains, in a very windy area of the Marche region, characterized by strong temperature variations. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level and consist of a predominantly clayey soil, sometimes limestone.

The grapes, harvested by hand in the morning, are brought to the cellar and carefully selected, and stored in cold rooms at 0 ° C before pressing. The vinification takes place at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C for about 15 days. This is followed by a refinement on the fine lees for 3 months, followed by a refinement of at least another 3 months in the bottle.

At the sight the wine has a bright straw yellow, and releases to the nose aromas of elderberry, grapefruit and ripe fruit with yellow pulp. Freshness and flavor are balanced with an excellent structure, a good persistence and a great roundness.

Excellent in combination with raw fish, salami, risotto, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
