Description

Schrader Cellars' Double Diamond was named "Wine of the Year 2022" by Wine Spectator. It is produced in Napa Valley by Fred Schrader, within the Oakville AVA appellation, located between the Vaca and Mayacamas mountains.

It is obtained from a traditional red vinification of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, followed by an aging of 16 months in French oak barrels.

Ruby red in color with purplish hues, it reveals hints of strawberry, nutmeg, plum jam and mint on the nose. In the mouth it has an excellent structure, with fine tannins and a pleasant acidity.

Excellent combined with grilled meat and main courses of red meat and game.
