Description
Born from the vineyards around the city of Nuits-Saint-Georges, an area of Burgundy renowned for the production of great red wines, so much so that it lends its name to the famous Côte de Nuits, this label is cloaked in magic and prestige. The soil composed of gravel and silt is ideal for the cultivation of the Pinot Noir grape.
The vinification is traditional, with long fermentation in thermo-conditioned steel followed by a macerative phase. The wine ages in oak barrels for 12 months, 30% new.
Ruby with purple reflections, it rewards the nose with aromas of red fruits, spices and woody notes. The taste shows a fleshy mouth, with ripe aromas of strawberry jam and tannins well integrated in the finish, which evolves over time in complexity and elegance.
This wine goes perfectly with roasted lamb, a duck breast but also game and very tasty cheeses such as Livarot or Munster.
