Description

The Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes Au Bas de Combe by Domaine Jean Tardy & Fils is the result of a meticulous selection of Pinot Noir grapes, grown on rich and fertile soil, perfect for expressing the quintessence of this vine.

The harvest takes place only when the grapes have reached ideal ripeness. After a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature, fermentation takes place for 18-20 days. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 16-20 months.

Dressed in a deep ruby red, the nose stands out for elegant notes of cherry and raspberry, enriched by nuances of wood and a subtle mineral vein. In the mouth it is dense and mature, with well integrated tannins.

It is ideal to accompany red meats and game-based dishes, both fur and feathered.
