Nemea PDO Assyrtiko Moschofilero Roditis Notios 2022 Gaia Estate

Notios white wine is produced by the Greek winery Gaia, founded in 1994 on the island of Santorini. In 1997 a second one was opened in Nemea, in the Peloponnese, located at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level, where this wine is also born.

The wine is a blend of the native Greek grapes Moschofilero, Roditis and Assyrtiko, which, just in the cellar, are first refrigerated at 4 ° C, and then de-stemmed and crushed. Each grape is vinified separately in steel tanks, to which selected yeasts are added. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out.

In the glass the wine appears straw yellow in color. The nose reveals floral and citrus aromas, with mineral notes. The taste is fresh and balanced, with a fairly persistent finish.

Excellent as an accompaniment to appetizers, light first courses and seafood.
