Description
Nocino Benvenuti is a liqueur produced according to an ancient tradition: the walnuts harvested in early summer, precisely on June 24, still green wrapped in husk, are cut into 4 parts and infused together with alcohol, sugar and water , in direct contact with sunlight, in the open air, remaining to macerate for almost a year.
It appears brown in color with bronze reflections. Hints of walnut and toasted dried fruit envelop the nose, merging with an intense alcoholic note. On the palate it shows an extraordinary balance between the sweet and the alcoholic component, with a long and persistent caramel aftertaste.
Excellent to serve as a digestive after a hearty meal, it can be used in the preparation of desserts and ice cream, as well as in mixing.
