The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva di Carpineto come from a selection of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and other red berried varieties of the Appodiato di Montepulciano.
The vinification takes place in steel with maceration on the skins for about 10-15 days, at a controlled temperature between 25 and 30 ° C. It is aged for 2 years in oval Slavonian oak barrels and in French oak barrels, and then aged for 6-8 months in the bottle.
In the glass it has a bright ruby red color with garnet hues. The olfactory profile is characteristic and elegant, with notes of violets, ethereal and precious wood. The taste is dry and savory, harmonious and velvety, with pleasant balsamic hints.
Indispensable with game and wild boar-based recipes, it can also be consumed in combination with important aged cheeses.
