Description
The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Bossona Riserva from Cantina Dei was born in vineyards located in the splendid setting of the Sienese hills.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, softly pressed and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 26 - 28°C, with a maceration that lasts for a period of 28-30 days. The wine is aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels, followed by a long aging in the bottle.
Bossona Riserva is a well-structured, elegant and balanced wine. Characterized by a ruby red color tending towards garnet, it has intense and elegant aromas, with notes of violet and hints of undergrowth. In the mouth it is velvety, with firm but soft tannins and a long and deep finish.
Ideal in combination with fine red meats and elaborate meat-based dishes, such as important roasts, it is perfect to accompany aged cheeses.
