Description
The Riserva del Nobile di Montepulciano di Boscarelli was born in vineyards located in Cervognano, in one of the most suitable areas of the Montepulciano area.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Colorino grapes, harvested only by hand. The grapes undergo destemming and a soft pressing, to then ferment in thermoregulated oak vats, filled to a maximum of 2/3 of their capacity, and for a duration of approx. 10 days, with manual pumping over and punching down. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian or French oak barrels for 28-32 months.
This Riserva is characterized by a ruby red colour. The nose opens with hints of cherry, white pepper and cloves. On the palate it is elegant, with fine tannins and pleasantly persistent.
Perfect to accompany steak, roasted red meats and braised game.
