Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva of Tenute del Cerro was born in vineyards located in the heart of Montepulciano, an area known for the production of fine wines. Tenute del Cerro wines, thanks to their unique characteristics, are among the most appreciated Italian excellences.

It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Mammolo grapes. The wine ages for 12 months in barrique, 6 months in oak barrels, and for a further 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle for 12 months.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large bouquet, with aromas of black cherry and hints of violets, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is pleasantly full and persistent, with tannins that give the wine a remarkable structure.

Perfect to accompany roasts and red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
