Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano di Tenute del Cerro was born in vineyards located in the heart of Montepulciano, an area known for the production of fine wines. Thanks to its unique style, this wine is the most famous product of Tenute del Cerro.

It is produced with Prugnolo Gentile grapes, a Sangiovese variety typical of the area. The wine ages in oak barrels for 12 months and for a further period in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle for 6 months.

It is characterized by an intense ruby color. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet, with hints of black cherry, enriched with delicate scents of violet and pleasant shades of vanilla. On the palate it is pleasantly full, with a balanced body and a light tannic component.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with roasts, mushroom dishes and white meats.
