Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano is located in the Salcheto estate, located in the Sienese municipality of Montepulciano.

It comes from Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. When fermented in red without any addition of sulphites, this wine is mainly raised in cask and tonneaux for 18 months before being bottled, where it spends a further 6 months of aging.

Of compact ruby red color, this Nobile di Montepulciano expresses a bouquet rich in aromas of black cherry and toasted, reached by notes of tobacco and licorice. On the palate it is long and intense, pleasantly true.

Perfect in combination with second courses of meat, it accompanies game and mushroom dishes.
