Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano Poggetto di Sopra by Avignonesi comes from the Poggetto di Sopra vineyard, on the hills of Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany.

It is produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for a maximum of 28 days. The wine ages in oak barrels and tonneaux for 24 months.

This Nobile di Montepulciano is characterized by a ruby red colour. The nose opens with intense aromas of cherry, enriched by fine spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is round, structured and of good persistence.

Perfect to accompany baked pasta, red meats and game.
